Service Charges & FAQs
Our aim at Scalesceugh is to enable our owners to enjoy a stress-free lifestyle. When you make the move to one of our apartments in Scalesceugh Hall, you can take advantage of a variety of services and benefits that are all included within a monthly service charge fee.
Our service charge ensure that all the costs of running our development are met. This includes ongoing costs such as maintaining the estate and grounds, cleaning communal areas and windows, buildings insurance, and a Services Manager, as well as fees associated with managing and operating of the residents' management company.
Additionally at some point in the future, expensive structural repairs or improvements will become necessary, for instance, resurfacing roadways and pathways.
To relieve our Scalesceugh Hall owners of these concerns, we need to collect two types of fee to ensure we have sufficient funds to cover all the ongoing costs of running the development and the expense of any major works required.
The Local Area
Living at Scalesceugh Hall, you can enjoy a tranquil rural setting while knowing a fantastic variety of amenities, attractions and transport connections are within easy reach.
Located off the A6, only four minutes from the M6, Scalesceugh is situated between the vibrant market town of Penrith and the historic Border City of Carlisle – less than five miles away.
And with a bus stop outside of our development, you’ll not need to worry about how to get there.
