Overview
Set within the 3.5 acres of stunning grounds, and surrounded by beautiful countryside, Scalesceugh Hall is a stunning Edwardian mansion featuring 4 one bed and 11 two bed apartments exclusively available to the over 55s.
Located within easy reach of the city of Carlisle, every apartment within this exquisite refurbishment offers its own unique charm, with a varying range of styles, shapes and sizes to choose from. Whilst the majority of apartments benefit from beautiful period style features, including cornicing and sash windows, many boast their own distinct design qualities, from original cast iron feature fireplaces to exposed sandstone archways, expansive bay windows and generous storage solutions.
All apartments are complete with beautifully-designed fully-fitted kitchens with high-quality integrated appliances, as well as fitted bathrooms and/or wet-room style shower rooms and the added luxury of underfloor heating. Selected apartments will also feature a patio or balcony.
Scalesceugh Hall will encourage a close-knit community feel thanks to the sociable shared spaces, including a communal lounge and cinema room. The upcoming on site Spa & Wellness Centre will also offer a delightful space for owners to relax and socialise with fellow owners.
To provide support to residents, assist in the organisation of events and the running of the development, a friendly Services Manager will be on site during selected hours in the week.

Service Charges
Our aim at Scalesceugh is to enable our residents to enjoy a stress-free retirement. When you make the move to one of our apartments in Scalesceugh Hall, you can take advantage of a variety of services and benefits that are all included within a monthly service charge fee.
Our fee charges ensure that all the costs of running our development are met. This includes ongoing costs such as maintaining the estate and grounds, cleaning communal areas and windows, buildings insurance, and a Services Manager, as well as fees associated with managing and operating of the residents' management company.
Additionally at some point in the future, expensive structural repairs or improvements will become necessary, for instance, resurfacing roadways and pathways.
To relieve our Scalesceugh Hall residents of these concerns, we need to collect two types of fee to ensure we have sufficient funds to cover all the ongoing costs of running the development and the expense of any major works required.
