We welcome the return of Eden Baroque for a light, summery programme of popular songs and instrumental music from the 17th and 18th centuries.
The programme will include Purcell, Lawes, Couperin and Handel, played on period instruments by Eden Baroque, who are Michael Sanderson (baritone and baroque violin) and Katharine May (harpsichord).
The concert starts at 3pm, but feel free (weather permitting) to bring a picnic and enjoy the lawns of Scalesceugh Hall & Villas from 1pm.
Tickets £12 in advance only, including interval strawberries and cream, and a glass of wine / juice. Seating limited to 60.
